Hard, bouncy trap anthems like butterfly vibes 2 and hand of God freestyle are laced with cocky lines interchanged with phrases such as “whole wide world in his hands, lean on him like kickstands” and “just know I’m gonna die happy if I die out with the king proud.” The interesting juxtapositions in Wings of An Angel mold the atmosphere of the tape, surrounding the listener with YB’s ideals about how he wants to live life as a go getter who relies on religion as an outlet for motivation. On “Age 8 Freestyle” YB flashes back to childhood memories, contemplating on his early love for god and the dream he’s had since 8 years old. Exploring different insecurities like what other people think of him, his lack of a romantic relationship till after college, and complicated friendships, YB comes to terms with these weaknesses and regrets by finding strength in recovering from the past, moving forward, and making different choices that make him stand apart from the rest of the crowd.
Unforgettably, the production on this tape is refined and lends an attitude to each track. Heavy 808’s and drippy electronic synths can found throughout the entire tape, creating an ethereal setting for each of YB’s flows. While eclectic, the production is just as consistent. It never takes over the track, but never stands in the back letting itself be overwhelmed by YB’s voice. From front to back, Wings Of An Angel is a beautiful experience intertwined with catchy pop laced choruses which never overstay their due.

Heem Da Dream has shared a new single called “FEELS”, after the release of his highly anticipated mixtape “Cosmic Hotel”, which showed off his versatility. From the drill tracks like “Sunkiss”, to hard-hitting songs like “The Wait”, which featured fellow Rap Villains Nick Straight and Alley Rocket, to the more melodic tracks like “Moneyz”– he showed he could do it all on the tape. Each year since 2020, BhramaBull has released a volume of his popular-growing “Evolution” album series. The A&R and owner of ‘Gryndfest Music Group’, looks to highlight the best and most buzzing indie / underground artists with every edition.
The first (2020) featured nine-tracks, with the likes of SkoHee, Lil Xelly, Tiing, Mischif and more, contributing their talents to the project. “Evolution 2” arrived the next year on September 17, 2021 — this time with one song less (8), featuring guest appearances from J-Haze, Chris Crack, Raz Fresco and many other talents.
Keeping his tradition going, today he delivers “Evolution 3,” and exclusively premieres the much-anticipated LP with UGHHBLOG. In celebration of releasing his third volume, Bhrama decided to step it up for the special occasion — and called for some major names. The biggest highlight is Rome Streetz on “Exit Plan,” a power-house lyricist who recently signed with Griselda Records. That alone can tell you the type of pen Rome has — as he has to keep-up and impress emcees like Benny, Conway and Westside Gunn. Other heavy-hitters include Def Soulja (“King Me”) from the Bronx, New York and 100GrandRoyce (“Rob Him Blind”) from a few towns over in Harlem.
