TacOo returns with new single “Pink Thing”

By Damilola Grey

TacOo has finally dropped his long awaited single, “Pink Thing”. The 4-minute track boasts of features from fellow Rap Villain artists, Heem Da Dream and Bobcat. Bobcat starts off the track with a verse nothing short of perfect: crazy wordplay, hard-hitting bars and an amazing flow (something Bobcat continues to refine on each release).

Heem Da Dream follows up with his own verse and doesn’t let up either. If this is a sneak peek of what we’re getting on Heem’s upcoming tape, then we have an album of the year contender already.

Then, TacOo closes the track with what I consider his greatest verse to date. From the delivery to the bars to the wordplay to the flow- everything was PERFECT. He talks about friends switching up, Alley Rocket’s support, and also his hometown. When I asked the New Jersey native what “Pink Thing” meant to him, he said “To me, pink thing is what we call male dog penis. A lot of these girls call me and my brothers’ dogs so I just accepted it. If I’m a dog, then imma be dogging these hoes with my pink thing out”. Tac0o started the month off right with “Pink Thing” and we can’t wait for the other bangers he has in store for us.

Punkband share raw new single “Criminal Nah”

By Griffen Elliott

Punkband is just that, a punk band, and this England-based duo has some serious attitude. Their 8th single “Criminal Nah” is a testament to this raw energy. Reminiscent of predecessors like the Sex Pistols with an edge that is all their own, Punkband captures the pure essence of the late 70s-80s punk without losing sight of what’s most important, having a good time. Beyond all of this, they are entertaining on the whole, injecting a much-needed breath of fresh air into the music scene. If Punkband’s discography is an indication of their trajectory from here, it’s onwards and upwards for these two. These cunts have some serious bollocks.

Casely shares addictive new video for “Tráfico”

Miami-born artist Casely, of Trinidadian and Panamanian roots, has teamed up with dancer and YouTuber Geraldine Sarmiento to share a new video for his song “Tráfico”. This visual enhances the vital, colorful feel of the song, making for an enticing, summery new offering.

In the crisp visuals, Casely plays the role of an attendant at a car wash managed by Geraldine. The singer displays natural theatrical skills as he delivers his role with an effortless charisma. The singer daydreams about having romantic moments with the model while at work and visibly loses concentration whenever he’s in the presence of the charming Geraldine. Then, when an overbearing admirer tracks her down at work, she puts him in his place as he gets thrown out of the office with the help of a security official. The following scene opens up with energetic dance moves from Casely and choreographers Chris Embroz and Ralph Cummings, to an engaging effect.

The latest from Miami’s Casely, “Tráfico” enhances the vibrant and energizing sound of the track to craft a memorable offering fit with a developed storyline. It finds Casely continuing his run of infectious offerings, as the artist has built an extensive discography over time that includes collaborations with the likes Pitbull, Flo Rida and Rick Ross.

Why is Las Guapo not just another rapper?

By Avinash Singh

Melodically gifted people have the chance to engage on a journey that will allow them to share their talents and bring others together, but not everyone sees it this way.

In the pursuit of monetary and transient pleasures, some individuals and organizations pursue egocentric ambitions. Las Guapo, rather, started his career in music with a single goal in mind: to write songs with much imagination and to establish his own trends.

We can’t forget about all of the projects he’s worked on that have garnered great responses from his fans, when we talk about this incredible artist.

It all started in 2017 when he was pushing carts at Sam’s Club. He went on social media and noticed musicians like “Lil Pump,” who had already become well-known in the business. This instilled in Las Guapo a sense of self-assurance, like if this artist could accomplish it, why can’t he? He was convinced that he could make songs 10 times better than Lil Pump.

During a recent chat with him, we asked him to reveal the creative process that helped him become the celebrity he is today. He stated that nothing is planned ahead of time, from the words to the rhythms. Everything happens in the head, and he goes with the flow, trusting his intuition.

This makes him Stand out from all the other artists.

Giving an insight into his creative process he quotes, “I really just go into the booth and talk about what’s on my mind or what I’m going through at the moment. Nothing is written, everything just off the top of my head!’

He mostly focuses on making his artistry unique so that he stands out in the industry and is known worldwide.
