Western Massachusetts artist Joenis‘ single “Motivation is an epic, inspirational track, centred around bittersweet keys and elegant strings. The song contains powerful drums and rich 808s that underscore the instrumental and create a driving rhythm. Over top, Joenis provides some confident, powerful vocals featuring smooth flows and catchy melodies. Topically, he reflects on coming up as an artist and dealing with roadblocks on the way. All in all, this track is relatable, catchy, and meaningful, making for an enjoyable listen.
Overall, “Motivation” is a strong release from Joenis, and he shows much potential on this one. This track offers much replay value and is refreshingly personal in nature. Hopefully, more is soon to come from this talented up-and-coming Western Massachusetts artist.
