Nigerian-Canadian artist Francesca Wexler has shared a fresh new single called “Princess Diana”. Following up her previous single, the electrifying “Cherry Fields Forever”, this track takes on a more somber, subdued mood with slower, smooth production. A mysterious, dark offering centred around a pensive, slightly psychedelic instrumental and eerily calm vocals from Wexler, this is an offering that is both layered and highly re-playable. Her vocals here are smoothly hazy and include some melodic influence, while for the most part sticking to dense, cleverly written rap bars. The latest from Canada’s Wexler, this track has us even more excited for a longer project from the rising artist, who has shown much promise in her songwriting of late.
